Tori Rose’s new release, “If Drinking Was A Sport,” sings about a type of guy most girls are all too familiar with. To an upbeat honky tonk sound, Tori sings of not being sure a relationship is going to work since drinking beer is his priority. He is more focused on shotgunning a beer than her. This funny music video shows the guy playing beer pong and trying to impress his friends at the bar, not giving any attention to his girlfriend. Tori has a classic country sound in this song that can be turned up at any party, where there will surely be someone there who can relate to the lyrics.

Before this light-hearted song, Tori released two impactful singles based on real-life experiences.
In this in-your-face, empowering break-up song, Tori sings of it being the guy’s loss for breaking up with her. She sings with attitude and confidence, knowing she will be just fine without him. While Tori didn’t plan for this song to be about a real-life relationship, their break-up matched what happened. “I kept thinking if this goes poorly and I go through another breakup, I would want someone to tell me it’s their loss,” said Tori.

“Seventeen” was written when Tori was going through a rough period as a way of journaling for herself. She didn’t plan to release it and kept playing it for herself. Then she thought, “This is a song other girls can relate to, no matter what age they are. If they think back to when they were 17, and that’s how they felt too.” While the song isn’t just about love, the music video shows the challenges of your first love at 17. “A big part of being 17 is your first love and going through everything that comes with that… and also going through so many other things at the same time, and that’s what I wanted to reflect in the music video,” said Tori.
