I hold on

By Lauren Schwab

This afternoon I spent time enjoying the fall weather on the farm while taking the opportunity to take photos that I will post in my gallery as well. Photos are a way for me to capture this moment in time as a 25 year old farmer’s daughter in Ohio on our Schwab Family Farm. I know years from now I will look back on these and remember my life as it was then. While I always think it is important to cherish the past and look forward to what the future brings, it is more important to live in the present. When we fail to be completely present in each moment we loose a sense of what our spirit is giving us. I choose to live in the now because I know it is only a matter of time before it changes into the then. With this blog I capture each moment in time and scribe a time in history I will pass on to you and future generations of what farm life was like in 2014. I hold onto this time and the blessings God has given me and my family. I love the land we live upon and the animals we tend to. I truly care for these precious beings and thank them for the many gifts they bring me.

Genesis 1:28 tell us, “And God blessed them. And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'”
