Maddie & Tae Inspire Girls in the FFA to Fly

IMG_0035Musical Duo, Maddie & Tae, performed for FFA members at the 88th National FFA Convention & Expo Wednesday in the Career Expo. Members sang along to “Fly” and “Girl in a Country Song” as the girls played their Gibson guitars with custom straps embroidered w ith their names. Maddie & Tae displayed confidence and poise as they sang. They were sure to thank the audience for making their wildest dreams come true.LYNC2588

Their musical talents serve as an inspiration to FFA members and young women to follow their dreams. “Doing what you love is so important. Being passionate about something and going after it is awesome because we have this crazy dream of ours and everyone has their own dreams they want to pursue,” says Maddie, “I think it’s awesome girls in FFA are keeping up with the guys, I love that and how there is a huge amount of women in FFA. We are all about women empowerment.”

Maddie & Tae display to members what it means to “Amplify” their sound and boost their impact on and off the stage. They are real girls, with a dream and a story to share, leaving their mark in the world one song at a time…

  1. I was at the national FFA convention 2015, I was at the concert and to see them perform while the whole room was shining with light from people’s phones and merchandise. That Wednesday night was the best! That song “Fly” though, it is inspiring and so inspiring that afterwards in the hotel room, my advisor caught me singing the song.
