What will be your Valentine’s Day song?
Single and Loving It
Miranda Lambert sings for the single girl in “Tequila Does“. She sings of coming to realization tequila is always there for her unlike men. “I’d sure like to find a cowboy tonight to get me back in the saddle. But the boys around here drink domestic beer. They’re all hat, no cattle. But I won’t sleep alone ’cause my old pal Patrón Is taking me home tonight,” she sings, “They don’t love me like tequila does, nobody can. They don’t give me that border town buzz like tequila does.” So if you’re single and loving it, just chase a kiss with a twist of a lime like Miranda!
Single and Heartbroke
If your heart is broke and longing for a traditional country sound with a glass of whiskey, Jon Pardi’s “Nobody Leaves A Girl Like That” from his new album Heartache Medication knows how you feel. The song will give you George Straight vibes from “Nobody In His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her“. Pardi sings, “Nobody leaves a girl like that. Nobody walks away and never looks back. You’d have to be out of your mind, to tell somethin’ that good, ‘Goodbye’. Nobody goes and breaks a heart of gold. Once you get a girl like that you never let her go. Take it from me, nobody leaves a girl like that.” Listen to this heartbroken cowboy’s song…
Single and Ready to Mingle
Carly Pearce has your love playlist for Valentine’s Day with the release of her highly anticipated self-titled album. Carly has stole our hearts with her hit singles “Every Little Thing” and “Hide the Wine“, now she takes us into her love story with new hubby Michael Rae. “I still say Michael kissed me first, but I guess only the wine will ever REALLY know.
‘You Kissed Me First‘ is out NOW!” Carly tells her fans in excitement. The song tells a story of a woman walking into a bar giving all the signs she is ready to fall in love. “I know I put on that dress and painted my lips red. I know I walked in this bar with a couple of my friends. I know that I’ve told you the barstool was free. I know that I smiled back when you smiled at me,” sings Carly. Watch the lyric video for the whole love story!
It’s Complicated
Midland takes you to an ambiance of longing for someone in a smoky bar to a dark bedroom in their single “Put The Hurt On Me“. When you don’t care what tomorrow brings, you just care about having one night with someone you can’t resist. “Don’t have to promise tomorrow. I know that’s only a line. But one more taste of your sweet poison, is gonna burn me just right. Kill me softly, baby, with your kiss. If I go, I wanna go like this. Come and be as cool as you can be. Yeah, baby, put the hurt on me,” he sings. Play this for your next and maybe only night of romance with a special someone.
In A Relationship
Dillon Carmichael is one of my favorite new artists. His single “Dancing Away With My Heart” will have you day dreaming of your wedding dance, but his new single “I Do For You” is for all you country love birds. In this tough man’s love song, Dillon sings of a simple country boy doing all the things he thought he would never do for a girl, but he will for the right girl. Watch the adorable lyric video of him and girlfriend Shayla. “Making this lyric video was so special to me! I got to make so many great memories with my beautiful Shayla,” Carmichael tells The Boot of the experience. “I’m so happy we get to share with the world a little glimpse into our lives.”
Married
Florida Georgia Line reminds us to count our “Blessings” with this love song. The beautiful music video shows how blessed they are with their families. “You’re that happy-ever-after I’ve been after my whole life. Who knows where I’d be without you? No, I just couldn’t be without you. I’ll just say, ‘Amen’. I can’t count ’em on one hand. But honey, look there on your finger. I’d say I’m a lucky man. God made two lovers out of strangers. A little house on a little land. A little creek, a little Jeep. Same old moon everybody sees. It sure ain’t hard to count your blessings,” sing the harmonic duo.
Happy Valentine’s Day and may you celebrate the love in your life everyday!
