If you haven’t listened to Ashley Walls’ music, you are missing out. Anytime I need a pick me up in life, I hit play to an Ashley Walls song and all feels right. Her music blends other genres into a fresh country sound you can’t help but sway and sing along to. Her latest releases of “Cowboys,” “Somebody Knew,” and “Beside You” have been playing in my car for months. I can’t wait any longer to share how much I love her music…

Cowboys

“Cowboys” brings a calm yet edgy sound as Ashley sings of all the reasons why cowboys like her. From drinking her whiskey straight to bringing him breakfast in bed at their house in the country – there is nothing not to like about this girl. The beat will have you singing along from the start and that is why this song has been on repeat during my drives to the farm.

Somebody Knew

“Somebody Knew” tells a romantic story of coming to realize a higher power brought you to the right person. You never knew you would find the right person that night at the bar, but somebody knew all along you would. Ashley sings of how a new love was meant to be when his path crossed hers. The soft melody in the song is captivating and will leave you daydreaming of finding love when you least expect it.

Beside You

“Beside You” has a fun beat that leads you to believe this is another love story gone right, but it goes so wrong. Ashley sings about how he is the right person for her, no one else besides him gets her like he does, but he doesn’t love her the same way because there is another girl beside him. These lyrics are so fun to sing along with, yet you feel the pain in her voice because she would do anything for him even though she doesn’t get the same in return.
